DJ Taster Course
The perfect introduction for those with little to no experience of DJing

Are you… a self-taught bedroom DJ looking to get some formal training? Sometimes making mistakes in your mixes? Have you always fancied your chances behind the decks but have never had a go, or perhaps are considering committing to our Fast-Track or Complete DJ Course? This introductory DJ Course is an ideal opportunity to check out our facilities and teaching style, and see what the world of DJing is all about.

The aim of this hands-on day is getting you introduced to DJing –  on the decks, understanding the mixer, and learning effective mixing techniques.

£40 – however this is credited back towards any DJ course if you go on to further training.

4hr course – this takes place monthly on Sundays from 3pm – 7pm.

    10 students maximum.

By the end of the course you’ll be able to mix tracks! Sufficed to say, the course requires no previous mixing ability, and is a lot of fun for all ages!

If you are intrigued about what goes into making the music that moves you, why not check out our Free Music Production Taster Course too, and make a day of it?

Do I need any equipment to do the course?

No – although we would recommend bringing some food and drink for during the mid-way break.

Do you hold open days?

We do indeed hold Open Days!  Yes see the next date.

There’ll be free music production and DJ workshops, a range of industry seminars, and a chance to get lots of career advice. All are welcome.

However, if you’re keen to get started quicker than when the Open Day comes around, particularly if you’re looking to study this course, we advise booking in for an informal personal tour of the school.

Please contact a Course Advisor on + 44 (0) 161 8334722 to make an appointment for either a tour or the Open Day.
