<h3>Tom Lonsborough</h3><p>Head of Online Learning</p>
<p><br />A former student of the M.M.S Diploma Course, Tom is the head of online learning at the MIDI School. He was invited out to Ableton HQ, Berlin, in 2008, to work with them in developing official training courses, and was one of the first certified Ableton traniners in the UK. He uses Ableton as a DJ , with residencies in Manchester, and as a producer / performer with bands DATG and Flash Atkins.</p>
<p><br />Aside from this holds weekend classes in Ableton Live, and offers one on one training in Ableton Live, and more generally writing music, performance, DJing, and mixdown.</p>

<h3>Damian Fiedler</h3><p>School Manager and Course Co-ordinator since 1997.</p>

<h3>Christophe Bride</h3><p>His credits on the Manchester circuit are second to none, he has worked on remixes for Skunk Anansie, Erasure, Placebo and Curve, as well as recording Mercury Music Prize winning band 'Hard Fi'. Kid British, signed to Universal, enlisted Christophe to record, engineer and produce their massive debut album. Importantly for our students, he has worked on a broad spectrum of music styles, engineering indie bands Northern Uproar and Sonic Boom 6’s debut albums, producing hip-hop (Wycliffe Jean and Tommy Boy remixes) on DMC, and writing progressive / trance with Blue Amazon. Tracks he worked on with Six 10 Repeater were licensed for Pro Evo Soccer 09.<br />Aside from developing new artists, he records with 80s legends Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny) and New Model Army.</p>

<h3>Ben Jacob</h3><p>Studio Technical Support.<br /><br /></p>
<p>A former student of the M.M.S Diploma course, Ben is more focused towards live bands. He has been in a wide range of bands over the years from Jazz to Metal. <br /><br /></p>
<p>On the flipside, Ben has his own studio, Cause2Create Audio, where he works on original live-enfused electronic music and also with other bands and artists from around Manchester.<br /><br /></p>

<h3>Dan Mumberson</h3><p>Head of Technical Support.</p>
<p>Dan is part of a small hive of friends who run the successful meandyou night in Manchester. This has had a big hand in revitalising the underground scene bringing in many forward-thinking artists such as Kassem Mosse, Even Tuell Lowtec, Dor, Newworldaquarium, Move D, 2562, Efdemin, RNDM, SDC, Kyle Hall, Tama Sumo, Lerato etc.</p>
<p>meandyou have hosted a Workshop records night at Tape Club in Berlin. Dan's private studio is situated in the midischool building, which he shares with production partner Reuben Holt working under their Juniper alias developing deep electronica which they output on labels such as Underground Quality, Ominira and Depth Perception.</p>

<h3>Mark One</h3><p>Not only North-West DMC Mixing Champion many times over, but a full time member of the band Texas, and a remix producer. Mark has played alongside Grandmaster Flash, Fat Boy Slim and Goldie, supported Madonna at Brixton Academy, and is Stella McCartney’s DJ of choice for her catwalk shows.</p>
<p>As the Texas scratch DJ he has toured the arenas of the world and appeared on Top of the Pops, Jools Holland, The Brit Awards, Glastonbury and Cannes Film Festival.</p>
<p>Mark also produces and remixes and is currently signed to AV8 Records (Armand Van Helden, Lumidee, Fatman Scoop) in NYC. He has applied his studio skills to Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Beyonce, Lily Allen, Dr Dre, Eminem, Destiny’s Child and countless others.<br /><a href="http://www.djmarkone.co.uk/" target="_blank">djmarkone.co.uk</a></p>

<h3>Danielle Moore</h3><p>Founding the Crazy P movement in 1996, Jim Baron and Chris Todd hooked up with Danielle Moore DJing at an after hours house party in Manchester. Since then the extended live outfit have taken their love of disco, house and dance floor grooves all over the world from sweaty basements to capacity festivals.</p>
<p>They have remixed and recorded some of the best recent dance floor moments for labels like 20 : 20 Vision and paperecordings with Danielle leading the way with her vocals and magnetic stage presence.</p>
<p>Danielle offers one-to-one coaching for vocals and performance.</p>

<h3>Paul O'Brien</h3><p>Paul is the School’s Apple Mac Certified Trainer for Pro Products (Logic) and specializes in sound design and editing for film, surround sound mixing and is Manchester’s mastering expert of choice. People he has worked with include:</p>

<h3>Simon 'Dingo' Archer</h3><p>In addition to running his own studio ‘6Db', he is a musician playing bass, guitar and keys. During a recent sabbatical Simon was the bassist on the PJ Harvey World Tour, taking in Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage and recording one of the last ‘Peel Sessions’ for Radio One. He has toured and produced music with the Fall and Frank Black (The Pixies) and was in-house engineer at Manchester’s Cutting Rooms, notching up over fifteen years freelance engineering and teaching experience - undertaking work for Sony, MCA, Sky, the BBC and various independent record labels. He recently founded the MacPac (Pro- Audio Consultants) and can be seen in the 24 Hour Party People film (if you look closely!)</p>

<h3>King Unique</h3><p>Over the past five years Matt Thomas’ King Unique’s records, remixes and re-edits have hit home with house-heads, nu-ravers and electro-rockers alike, being championed by everyone from Sasha to Soulwax, Danny Howells to Tiesto, and Pete Tong to Zane Lowe.</p>
<p>Self confessed studio Junkie Matt Thomas has joined the Manchester Midi School as resident guest lecturer. He will be sharing his knowledge of synthesis, programming and studio technique plus all things in between over a series of lectures.</p>
