Marcus is a forward thinking drum and bass DJ with some 18 years of experience who has traveled far and wide plying his trade, pushing the boundaries of the genre. Through playing and production, his sound is forward thinking and energetic but always with groove and a touch of soul.
He started making music in 1994 and since then alongside his trusty sidekick ST Files has had numerous releases at the cutting edge of dance music though his own Revolve:R and Soul:R labels.
Marcus’ Mist:i:cal’s Eleventh Hour album was released in the Autumn 2007 to major critical success plus his Fabric mix that is laden with deep, hypnotic grooves and sweeping melodies has proved to be one of the best releases in the series.
2011 saw the release of Intalex's newest album, "21", the newest installment of the unique style combining liquid and ambient drum and bass.
Marcus is coming to the Midi School to offer a masterclass on how to write the unique breaks that go to make up his distinctive sound.
