The brightest talent on the Hard Dance scene is the unstoppable Alex Kidd. He's come a long way from the Midi School production course he did many moons ago and came to the Midi School to tell us how it was done.
He talked us through some of his production tricks of the trade including sidechain compression and how he puts tunes together in Ableton. He also gave us a DJ demo using the Pioneer efx unit.
Alex rounded off with a Q & A on how he got ahead in the Industry through branding his own Kidfectious nights and understanding the events and his audience.
It was a brilliant insight in to how Alex Kidd went from Midi School student to headlining his own festival and DJing around the globe in three short years.
