Manchester Midi School gave me a good understanding of the ins and outs of the music industry, from creating my own sounds, song composition, right through to getting my music out there and heard. The "Music Production and Construction" course was a logical, step by step guide on producing my own music and a good foundation for me to take a stab at the industry.
After leaving the Midi School in 2009, I aimed my efforts in producing music of my own style (Ambient/Downtempo/Chill) and entering various competitions to get noticed. After a couple of months one of my tracks made it to the final 10 of the "G-Technology Driven Creativity" Competition and was displayed at the Brick Lane Gallery in London for 7 days.
Since then I have entered another competition called "Soundtrax" hosted by Muzu. This gives artists the chance to get their music onto the soundtrack for the upcoming film Relative Desire directed by Micheal Baig Clifford. The track I entered made it into the top 50. The top 50 will be judged by editors/producers from the film and a final 10 will be selected to go in the official soundtrack.
Recently I have also been signed to "Lisnmusic", a record and licensing label.
