Ableton Live is a ‘loop-based’ software music sequencer package. Relative to other software sequencers, Ableton Live is as much an instrument for Live performances of music as it is a tool for composing and arranging.

The program has developed a status second to none with it's unique and intuitive controls, features and hands on user interface resulting in many of the 'big hitter' DJs and Artists in the electronic music scene using the programme for their live shows and increasingly - their DJ sets.
