Ableton Live is a ‘loop-based’ software music sequencer package. Relative to other software sequencers, Ableton Live is as much an instrument for Live performances of music as it is a tool for composing and arranging.

The program has developed a status second to none with it's unique and intuitive controls, features and hands on user interface resulting in many of the 'big hitter' DJs and Artists in the electronic music scene using the programme for their live shows and increasingly - their DJ sets. The list includes... Ritchie Hawtin, Coldcut, BT, Dylan Rhymes, Armin Van Burren, Surgeon, James Zabiela, Sasha, Daft Punk, The Crystal Method, Soulwax, Matthew Johnson, and of course, the man who had his hand in designing Ableton Live, the legendary Monolake.

All aspects of Ableton will be covered including Controller Hardware and mixing, DJ'ing / Performing Live, Rewire and use with other applications.

There will also be interviews and insider tips with leading producers and artists, Ableton being used live in a club plus templates, sounds, demos and kits.
