What is Logic Pro?
Apple's Logic Pro 9 is the professional all in one recording solution for musicians and engineers alike. It comes boxed with a selection of high-end, studio quality instruments, effect devices, and sound libraries. Whether you're producing music solely 'in the box', or have Logic as the hub of your hardware-based studio, Logic will excel with it's streamlined workflow, and innovative editing tools. You will find Logic both in professional, commercial studios, and the bedroom studio alike: it truly is industry standard software.
As well as the pro-standard devices boxed with Logic, you can extend your sonic library with third party instruments and signal processors. It is just as happy producing electronic music, as it is tracking and mixing a live band. It's customisable layouts, shortcuts, and colour schemes allow you to mould the program to suit your working style, making the gap between creativity and realisation a small one.
The MIDI School are offering a range of online Logic courses. For those new to music recording and production, or those looking to make a switch from another sequencer, we have courses on the workings and architecture of Logic itself. For existing Logic users, we have producer courses where different music writing/recording/production techniques and styles are covered using Logic as the DAW of choice.
