Our Staff are leading practitioners from the music industry with a wealth of experience on the cutting edge of music technology and recording.
They continue to work in the Industry and recent credits include engineering, production and song writing for The Fall, Hard Fi, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Kelis, Plan B and Natasha Bedingfield, making music for labels International Deejay Gigolo, Ministry of Sound, Warner Brothers, Metalheadz, paperecordings and Skint, Djing in Fabric, Sankeys Soap and The Electric Chair plus remixes for Destiny’s Child, The Streets, Kosheen and Gabrielle.

Simon 'Dingo' Archer
In addition to running his own studio - 'Parallel Productions', he is a musician playing bass, guitar and keys. During a recent sabbatical Simon was the bassist on the PJ Harvey World Tour, taking in Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage and recording one of the last ‘Peel Sessions’ for Radio One. He has toured and produced music with the Fall and was in-house engineer at Manchester’s Cutting Rooms, notching up over fifteen years freelance engineering and teaching experience - undertaking work for Sony, MCA, Sky, the BBC and various independent record labels. He recently founded the MacPac (Pro- Audio Consultants) and can be seen in the 24 Hour Party People film (if you look closely!)

Christophe Bride
Christophe has worked on remixes for Skunk Anansie, Erasure, Placebo and Curve. Currently he started to work with Dave Chambers (ex Ministry of Sound) and local DJ Gaz Leyland (XFM).He most recently recorded Mercury Music Prize nominee band 'Hard Fi'.
His credits on the Manchester circuit are second to none... He has worked on a broad spectrum of music styles, engineering Northern Uproar's debut LP and co-producing their new album, produced with Mark One (Wycliffe Jean and Tommy Boy remixes) on DMC, Subliminal Darkness, Manmade (ex Black Grape), the Jeep Beat Collective (The Ruf Label) and Blue Amazon.He has and still is working with 80's icon Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny), New Model Army. In 2005 he recorded and mixed Sonic Boom 6 album as well as numerous local rock/punk bands His current outfit, Forbidden Planet (progressive-trance) are signed in the U.K and U.S. Another of his pseudonyms, the Beat Wizards recently produced an album for Convert Records.He is involved in recordings with Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) and developing new artists. http://www.myspace.com/forbiddenplanet
Paul O'Brien
Paul is also the Schools Apple Mac Certified Trainer for Pro Products inc Emagic Logic 7 and specializes in sound design and editing for film, surround sound mixing and is Manchester’s mastering expert of choice. He is currently developing his POB Audio project and performing with the Media Softened people live. People he has worked with include:

Jonny Miller
A DJ of some sixteen years Jonny Miller has played clubs all over the World, as well promoting numerous club nights and releasing records. He has worked in most music genres as a Dj and producer and is currently signed as an artist and remixer to Phuture Lounge Recordings.

Ben Davis - Music Industry Consultant
‘We Are Woodville’ is a brand new music company from Peter Jenkinson and Ben Davis, conspirators on seminal dance label Paperecordings, which contributed to shaping the face of house music in the 90s, breaking acts such as Crazy Penis, The Problem Kids, Those Norwegians and Salt City Orchestra as well providing a homes for the likes of Herbert, Kenny Hawkes, Eddie ‘Flashin Fowlkes’ and Parisian Erik Rug.

Kevin Gorman
Kevin Gorman is fast becoming a big name in the Techno / Minimal scene worldwide, with his own Mikrowave label which has seen releases from Agaric, Patrik Skoog), Marc Ashken, Alex Under, Mark Broom, Tadeo and Phil Kieran.
Kevin is signed to International Deejay Gigolo, a label run by Techno legend DJ Hell. His debut album 'Chemistry Lock' was released on Gigolo in November 2007. He has also had releases on the CMYK label, run by Alex Under. The Kevin Gorman remix portfolio is growing with mixes for Brighton's infamous Skint Records and the Outlander 1991 classic 'Vamp'.
As a DJ, Kevin now plays exclusively with his Ableton & MIDI setup. He has recently played at Fabric, Rex club (Paris), Sonar (Barcelona) and The Watergate (Berlin)

Dan Mumberson - Technical Support
A former student of the M.M.S Diploma Course, Dan has since worked as an engineer in Manchester recording studios, and now owns his own studio. Aside from the Midi School, this is where Dan channels all of his knowledge and energy, working hard on personal productions under the guise 'The Static Movement', alongside studio partners, Greg Vickers (Tribal Sessions resident and international DJ), and New Zealand born musician, Reuben Holt. Their project focuses upon forward thinking Electronica, Detroit-influenced House and minimal Techno... music for the head as well as the dancefloor. The three are to launch their record label at the end of 2006 - Friction Recordings, to serve as an independent outlet for 'The Static Movement' material, and other like-minded artists who share the same vision.
